Eclipse PPM software

Eclipse PPM is software for project portfolio management (PPM). It was created in 2002 by Solution Q, a Toronto, Ontario, Canada-based company. The software is used for project intake, prioritization and approval; project visibility and communication; and resource capacity planning and tracking. It was acquired by Upland Software (UPLD) in November 2014.

Technology

Eclipse PPM is a Rich Internet Application (RIA). It is hosted in a secure external data center. In April 2011, a SaaS version of Eclipse PPM was released.[1]

The software is regularly updated, with roughly four new major releases per year.

Interface

The Eclipse PPM interface consists of customizable dashboards with 'drag and drop' technology. Users can edit project financials, information, and time tracking in a method similar to spreadsheets. Projects can be ranked based on meaningful criteria that is tied to corporate objectives. A single dashboard also provides personalized views that can be saved. [2]
