E. V. Saroja
E. V. Saroja (died 2006) was a Tamil and Telugu actress and dancer. She was born on 3 November 1935 as Engan V. Saroja.[1] She belonged to Engan village of Thiruvarur district, Tamil Nadu.
Her debut film was En Thangai in 1952 starring M. G. Ramachandran. She played the role of a blind girl.
She acted in about 70 films with other top-ranking stars of Tamil and Telugu film industry like Gemini Ganesan and Akkineni Nageswara Rao. Her mother tongue is Tamil.

Personal life
Her brother is E. V. Rajan, with whom she established E.V.R. Pictures. They produced a few films like Koduthuvaithaval (starring MGR as hero) and Thanga Surangam (Sivaji Ganesan as hero).
Death
She died of heart failure in Chennai on Friday 3 November 2006.[2]
