History
The station opened on 13 August 1849 as Dunse station by the North British Railway.[1] The name was changed to Duns in May 1883. The building on the up platform shared a building with the wooden goods yard. The station was closed with the rest of the St Boswells-Duns portion of the line due to flooding on 13 August 1948. The station was closed to goods traffic on 10 September 1951.[2]

gollark: Well, people fall for regular non-NFT scams. So that isn't very unexpected.
gollark: As such, do not.
gollark: If someone explodes me, then my dead man's switch will begin running all possible programs in order on various computing resources, one of which is likely to be an unaligned AGI eventually.
