History

It has been a settlement since the Middle Bronze Age.[2]

Dromolaxia Vizatzia was "a Late Cypriote city".[3] Archaeological excavations in 1972, a few hundred meters West of Hala Sultan Tekke (by E. Åström and A. Hatziantoniou) pointed to a settlement dating "from Middle Cypriote III to Late Cypriote I but also from Late Cypriote IIC to IIIA and later".[3]

Football team

Dromolaxia's football team is Thyella and has been in the 4th division. Due to economical and political reasons, the community president decided to withdraw the team from the league. It has been suggested that the team be merged with Salamina Dromolaxias, the team of the refugees who came to Dromolaxia in 1974 due to the Turkish invasion.

gollark: > so dumping a shit ton of current to the 80% mark (which is usually close to nominal) isnt bad for itWouldn't the battery get pretty hot, which might be a problem?
gollark: Right now the solution for fast-charging phones seems to just be to dump ridiculous amounts of power into the batteries, which seems kind of bad?
gollark: Supercapacitor-based phones would be neat, if they can get them to about the same energy density as current stuff somehow.
gollark: I think right now degrading batteries are a significant issue.
gollark: I mean, most of these "smart"er cars probably have wireless features of some sort, and probably zero budget spent on security.
