Douzi
Abdelhafid ad Douzi (Arabic: عبد الحفيظ الدوزي; born 30 April 1985), better known by the mononym Douzi, is an Moroccan pop singer, songwriter, actor, dancer and record producer.[1][2]

Career
Douzi started young appearing on Moroccan television singing a song "La Lil Harb" (no to war) composed by his brother and manager, Kader Douzi. The song became an instant success for him. In 1993, he took part in The Youth Festival organized by a radio station in Oujda becoming the youngest participant that year. In 1994, he recorded his first album Goulou Imumti Tjini (Tell Mommy to come back to me), In 1997 "Rwahi Liya" became his first music video. In 2004, his song "Yali Nassini" became a big radio hit and was invited to record a track for the compilation Rai n' B Fever 2 on Columbia / Sony BMG. In 2008, he launched the label Linatop Production and engaged on a tour for promoting his studio album. He has gone to record a number of studio albums, a Greatest Hits album and a string of singles, notably "Laayoun Ainiya", "Douni Lebladi", "Lmouja", "Dina" amongst many. He has pan-Arab and international following far beyond his country Morocco.[3]
In August 2016, he was decorated with Moroccan national merit order (Ouissam Al Moukafâa Al Wataniya (ordre du mérite national)) by King Mohammed VI of Morocco. In November 2017, he was the winner of DAF BAMA 2017 in Hamburg, Germany for Best Moroccan Singer.[4] He had also won Best Moroccan Pop Artist during the Morocco Music Awards.
Douzi has appeared in the international festivals including Mawazine Festival[5] and has sung in Arabic, French English in addition to features in Spanish, Hindi[6] and Turkish. He appeared with Latifa Rafat in the Moroccan version of the musical series "Coke Studio" produced by Coca-Cola. In 2017, he won Celebrity MasterChef Morocco. The telecommunications company Huawei picked him as the brand ambassador. Douzi released a remake of "Mazal Mazal" (“Not Yet, Not Yet”) in tribute to Cheb Akil. "Awal Hob" featuring Dj Maze is support for the deaf community and the 2018 hit "Mabrouk Rebha" in support of the Moroccan National Football Team in 2018 FIFA World Cup. Douzi resides with his family in Belgium.
