AllMusic awarded the album 2 stars with its review by Jim Newsome stating: "The unfortunate title of this album fed into the perception that jazz great Herbie Mann would jump onto any musical trend for a buck. The hit single "Hi-Jack" actually was pretty good as dance-oriented instrumental pop, but jazz it was not. ...On too many cuts, though, the dated synthesizers and female backing vocals make the mix sound like little more than background music for a shopping mall".[2]

Personnel
gollark: Modding works entirely through patching the really weirdly formatted data files (or in a few cases directly patching game data in memory, or something like that).
gollark: There are some infinite play mods, but they can't really do much to the gameplay.
gollark: It wouldn't be that difficult to fake a screenshot by just inspect-elementing an existing one and changing the image and timestamps, no need for you to actually reply.
gollark: The quality is probably not ideal, but I am not one of those "audiophiles" who actually notices differences in music at all.
gollark: I mostly just harvest music from YouTube anyway, via the magic of `youtube-dl`.
