Plot
The planet Byfrexia is being plagued by destructive storms, and Princess Farra must conclude an agreement with the Vulcan Empress Krella. Together, they will develop a technology to control the weather. But upon arrival, Krella and her fleet have already attacked the planet and with the help of Vema, her bodyguard, Farra escapes. While on the run from Empress Krella, Farra and Vema make an emergency landing on Earth. Since the existence of men is unknown on the planet Byfrexia, they are identified as tripods.
Empress Krella sends Commander Tharis to Earth to capture the two fugitives. After she finds them, however, Tharis finally realizes she will not be needed anymore as soon as Krella recaptures the Princess of Byfrexia. Therefore, she returns to the spaceship and reports that the princess is dead and the atmosphere of the Earth is poisonous.
