Background

Regarding the lyrical inspiration for "Digital (Did You Tell)", Corey Taylor said:[1]

Lyrically, it's basically about the isolation of the digital age where more and more people are afraid to come out of their bubble, more and more people are afraid to come out of their cocoon. They'd rather sit in front of an electric screen and pour their hate or pour their emotions anonymously into the world. And there's nothing cathartic about that; there's nothing healthy about that. And it's basically [just saying], 'Take a break, unplug, live your life for a while. Get out and experience life while you can because it could be gone [snaps fingers] like that.

Music video

The video was directed by Paul R. Brown, who previously worked with Stone Sour on the "30/30-150", "Say You'll Haunt Me" and "Hesistate" videos.

gollark: Sometimes they fail to PXE-boot or something like that and are just stuck displaying a black screen with some error messages on it.
gollark: In my school there are a bunch of displays with "information" on them (mostly news headlines and promotional images of the school) which apparently run Windows, because they frequently seem to undergo updates and sometimes are stuck on a blank desktop (do they not know how to make stuff autostart?).
gollark: Also since integers are nicer than decimal values.
gollark: Because bigger numbers → more better.
gollark: It's something like 8 characters, and does a clever thing to match any number (in unary) with factors other than 1 and itself. It also probably makes regex engines suffer horribly.
