Diego Milán

Diego Milán Jiménez (born 10 July 1985) is a Spanish-born professional road bicycle racer, who competes for Inteja Imca–Ridea. Milán has also competed for Acqua & Sapone–Caffè Mokambo, Caja Rural and Differdange–Losch. Since 2012, Milán competes under a licence from the Dominican Republic,[1] having been born in Spain.[2]

Professional career

Born in Almansa, Spain, Milán won the Dominican Republic National Road Race Championships in 2013[3] and 2014.[4]

Milán was the first Dominican cyclist to ever participate in the Olympic Games when he participated in the individual road race, but did not finish.[5]

Milán was fourth overall during the 2015 Grand Prix Cycliste de Saguenay, riding for the Inteja–MMR Dominican Cycling Team.[6]
