Dhaka Prakash was the first Bengali language newspaper published in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh.[1]

The paper was first published in 7 March 1861. It was weekly published every Thursday. The Bengali poet Krishna Chandra Majumder was the first editor of the paper.[1]
