Dev Kumari Thapa

Dev Kumari Thapa (born 14 April 1928, Vikram Samvat: 2 Baisakh 1985; died 5 May 2011 AD) was a Nepali writer, who mainly wrote stories.[1][2][3]

Biography

Early life

She was born in Karshang, Darjeeling , India. She was orphaned at a young age. Her father passed away before she was born. When she was about ten, she lost her mother as well. She was raised by her grandmother after her mother's death.[4]

Education

She completed high school in Darjeeling and then went on to earn a diploma from a 3-year nursing course.
