Reception

There are some who suggested that the entire franchise is a blatant ripoff of the popular Manga Kindaichi Case Files.

The entire series franchise is considered to be the bloodiest ever made by TVB. The series, which mostly deals with murder investigation, among other matters, featured more than 40 murder victims in its four installments. This would mean that there is a murder committed every 100 minutes.

gollark: Never underestimate human stupidity.
