Delaware City School District (Delaware County, Ohio)

Delaware City Local School District is a public school district serving students in the city of Delaware, Ohio, United States. The school district enrolls about 5,700 students as of the 2017–2018 academic year.[1] The Frank B. Willis Education Center (formerly the Intermediate School and High School) is home to the administrative offices of the district.

Administration

The district is led by the Superintendent and the DCS Board of Education.[2] The Superintendent is appointed by the Board and runs the district's day-to-day operations. As of August 1, 2019, Heidi Kegley is the district's superintendent.[3] Members of the Board are elected to 4 year terms by the citizens of the district.[4] Each school year, a senior at Hayes High School is appointed by the school's principal to serve on the Board for the duration of the school year. While this student does not have voting powers on the Board, they do serve as a voice for the students of the district. The 2019–2020 academic year Student Board Member is Mary Grace Duffy.

gollark: Yay, a cheese!
gollark: It's totally my business to impose constraints on stuff I'm giving away. Yes, strictly speaking, they *can* just trade it away, but if I notice that they are absolutely not getting gifts again. Never happens to me, though, since I mostly gift 2G whatevers and the occasional uncommon CB.
gollark: I generally treat trades as "well, this is trading, if I can make use of arbitrage then who cares" and gifts as "must stay on my own scroll unless they specify otherwise".
gollark: Hmm, looks like I'll try and codehunt then.
gollark: Along with winter magi and garlands.
