Deepshikha Deshmukh

Deepshikha Deshmukh also known as Deepshikha Bhagnani (born on 29 October 1982) is an Indian film producer.[1] She is the daughter of producer Vashu Bhagnani, and sister of the actor/producer Jackky Bhagnani. She is married to politician Dhiraj Deshmukh.[2][3]

Career

She debuted as a producer in 2016 with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Randeep Hooda, starring Sarbjit.[4] She then contribute to Madaari, starring Irrfan Khan.[5][6][7] She partnered with Priyanka Chopra (as a producer) on Pooja Entertainment's first Punjabi film Sarvann.[8][9][10]

Her next project was Welcome to New York with Karan Johar, Sonakshi Sinha, and Diljit Dosanjh.[11][12] She produced Dil Juunglee starring Tapsee Pannu[13] and Jawaani Jaaneman with Saif Ali Khan and Alaya Furniturewala.[14] Her future projects are Coolie No. 1 starring Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan.[15]

Deepshikha is against animal cruelty and has been critical of the current minimum fines for that offense.[16][17] She opposes the use of firecrackers during Diwali.[18]
