Deborah Delmer
Deborah Delmer is an American plant pathologist, and professor emeritus at University of California, Davis[1]. She was awarded the 2011 ASPB Leadership in Science Public Service Award.[2] and the 2004 Anselme Payen Award. She was president of the American Society of Plant Biologists.[3]
She graduated from Indiana University, and from the University of California, San Diego.[3][4] She studied with Peter Albersheim at the University of Colorado. She taught at Michigan State University. She taught at Hebrew University of Jerusalem[5] She was a Director for the Rockefeller Foundation .[3] She is on the board of The American Chestnut Foundation.[6]
