Dear Dad (film)

Dear Dad is an Indian period drama film written and directed by Mahesh Manjrekar released on 13 May 2016.[1] [2][3]. The film was simultaneously made in Hindi and Tamil. A remake of Manjrekar's 2012 Marathi film Kaksparsh, Dear Dad is based on a short story by Usha Datar and depicts the tumultuous events in a Tamil Brahmin family, set around 1930–1950 in Konkan. Starring Arvind Swamy, Tisca Chopra and Adinath Kothare in the lead roles, production began during late 2013.[4]
