Shannon Appelcine states that "Great White Games returned to an old setting with the publication of Deadlands: Reloaded! (2005), which updated Pinnacle's top RPG to the Savage Worlds system.[3]:289290

Deadlands: Reloaded won the 2006 Origins Awards for Roleplaying Game Supplement of the Year.[4]
