Background

In August 2011 Air Dubai headed to Northern California to record the Day Escape EP.

Within the month of August they wrote, recorded and mixed the entire project which they released in October 2011.

Singles

The lead single for the album "Soul & Body" was the only song on the album not recorded in Weed, California. This song was from an earlier session they did with producer Dwight Baker while in Austin, Texas for South By Southwest for their yet to be created third studio album.

The second single from the album "Lights Down" landed the band a spot on the 2011 Fall playlist in Hollister stores nationwide

gollark: I would really prefer a company which actually does good, interesting stuff and contains sane people over one which makes me participate in stupid stuff because of "spiritual goodness".
gollark: You can cynically look at this as them trying to make employees develop emotional attachments to the company, too, to make them more exploitable or something.
gollark: I am NEVER working anywhere which randomly overritualizes stuff like this, probably, unless I just forget by the time I actually look for a job, which is likely.
