Davis Kasirye

Davis Kasirye (born 10 May 1995)[1] is a Ugandan international footballer who plays as a forward for the Uganda national football team.

Club career

He began his career with Utoda FC in the Ugandan Premier League, Police Jinja, Uganda Revenue Authority SC, Rayon Sports, Motema DC,ZESCO United, SC Villa and Vipers SC.

Rayon Sports

Davis joined Rayon Sports in 2015 from U.R.A SC. He made his debut for Rayon Sports Club on 20th September 2015 and scored his first goal for Rayon SC against Marines FC in Rubavu.[2] Davis will always be remembered in Rwanda Premier League as the first player to score a hattrick in the traditional Kigali derby, he scored it against APR F.C. on 3rd May 2016 at Amahoro National Stadium in Remera, Kigali.[3] [4] Davis scored 12 goals for Rayon Sports in the Rwanda Premier League.[5]

Motema DC

On 26th July 2016, signed a two year contract at Motema DC in Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), [6] On 3rd October 2016, Davis made his debut for Motema DC during the opening match of the Premier League season that saw Motema DC overcome RCK 2-1 at the Stade Des Martyrs arena in Kinshasa, Davis assisted one goal in the 75 minutes he featured.[7]

ZESCO United

On 19th July 2017, Davis completed Zambia Premier League side, ZESCO United and was officially unveiled on 20 July 2017 in Lusaka.[8] Davis made his debut for ZESCO United on 2nd August 2017 against Lumwana Radiants F.C., ZESCO United won 1-0, Davis played 55 minutes in that game.[9]

International career

Davis was handled his first international debut during the build up with Zimbabwe at the Rufaro Stadium in Harare, in a match Uganda lost 2-0.[10]
