David Spiegel

David Spiegel, M.D., is Associate Chair of Psychiatry at Stanford University, where he is known for his research into breast cancer.[1] He directs the Stanford Center on Stress and Health[2] and is "one of the nation's most respected experts in the clinical uses of hypnosis".[3]

David Spiegel is the son of the late Herbert Spiegel, M.D., who was likewise an expert in hypnosis.
