Dasyponyssidae contains two genera, with two recognized species:[1]
- Genus Dasyponyssus Fonseca, 1940
- Dasyponyssus neivai Fonseca, 1940
- Genus Xenarthronyssus Radovsky & Yunker, 1971
- Xenarthronyssus furmani Radovsky & Yunker, 1971
