Dara Treseder
Dara Treseder (née Johnson)[1] is an American businesswoman and marketing executive who is the current SVP, head of global marketing and communications at Peloton. Previously, she served as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Carbon,[2] CMO of GE Business Innovations and GE Ventures at General Electric,[3] and Global Head of Demand Generation for Apple subsidiary Claris, formerly FileMaker.[4] Dara is also the co-founder of marketing consultancy, NeuBridges.[5]

Education and career
Dara, born in Nigeria, attended boarding school in the U.K and got her undergraduate degree from Harvard University. She holds an MBA from Stanford University.[3] Dara is a lecturer, speaker and advisor on marketing, innovation, and growth. She delivers keynotes at SXSW, CES, ANA, Women of Silicon Valley, AfroTech, Social Media Week.[6][7][8][9]
Dara serves on the board of directors of the Public Health Institute[10] and PG&E.[11]
In 2018, Dara was recognized as one of the “Women to Watch” by AdAge[12] and was recognized by Forbes as a “CMO Next”.[13]
In August 2020, Peloton hired Dara Treseder as head of global marketing and communications.[14]
Dara Treseder joined Karlie Kloss and other investors to buy out W Magazine in August 2020.[15]
In 2020, Business Insider recognized Dara as one of the 25 Most Innovative CMOs in the world.[16]
Dara was recognized on Inc. Magazine for her work as Global Head of Demand Generation for Apple subsidiary Claris, formerly FileMaker as one of the "30 Inspirational Women to Watch in Tech” in 2017.[17]
Personal life
Dara lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband and their two children.[18]
