Daniel R. Mandell

Daniel R. Mandell (born 1956) is an American historian.

He completed his doctorate and master's degrees in History at the University of Virginia. He has also done a master's degree in Urban and Environmental Policy at Tufts University and a bachelor's degree in History at Humboldt State University.[1] He has received research fellowships from the National Endowment for the Humanities.[1]

He received the Lawrence W. Levine Award in 2008 for his book Tribe, Race, History: Native Americans in Southern New England, 1780–1880.[1]
