Dan McCrudden

Dan McCrudden is a retired American soccer forward who played in the North American Soccer League and American Soccer League.

McCrudden attended Rhode Island University where he played on the soccer team from 1974 to 1977. He led the team in scoring all four seasons and was a 1977 Honorable Mention (third team) All American. In 1998, he was inducted into the Rams Hall of Fame.[1] In 1978, the Chicago Sting selected McCrudden in the first round (16th overall) of the North American Soccer League draft. He played one season with the sting, and another five seasons in the American Soccer League where he was a 1980 All Star.

Current Career

Dan McCrudden is currently employed as the Senior Director of Facilities Administration at the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management[2]. Because the purpose McCrudden's job is to maintain building integrity, McCrudden spends most of his time harassing students attempting to use the building's various spaces as study spots. McCrudden has repeatedly stressed the need for respect for buildings, authority, and especially cameras, and at one point made a threat towards a student that he would show their photo to Northwestern's dean after the student had drawn a large penis on an empty classroom's white board. Modern psychology tells us that this was likely a vain act of compensation for his micropenis[3]. He also notes the importance of immediately calling the police on Northwestern students who are in the building. McCrudden was likely the first confirmed case of COVID-19 at the Kellogg School of Management[4].
