DND KMP Expressway
DND KMP Expressway is an under construction 8 lane access-controlled Expressway in Delhi NCR region of India.[1] It will connect Delhi Ring Road with under construction Delhi Mumbai Expressway. It was merged with Delhi Mumbai Expressway recently. The access-controlled highway project will start at the Ring Road-DND junction, pass through the Kalindi bypass and Faridabad-Ballabhgarh bypass, and will finish at the interchange of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway at the Western Peripheral Expressway or Kundli-Manesar–Palwal (KMP) Expressway.[2] This project will reduce congestion in Ashram-Badarpur-Faridabad-Ballabhgarh region. This Expressway will have three lane service roads on either sides for about 29 km, 7.350 km of elevated section with two level crossings at four locations of the metro line, 18 new underpasses, and nine interchanges with improved junctions. The cost of project is nearly 3580 crore.[3] This Expressway is part of Delhi pollution check plan to tackle high air pollution in Delhi.
