D. J. Aldridge

D. J. Aldridge (birth unknown – death unknown) was a rugby union and professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1920s. He played club level rugby union (RU) for Ebbw Vale RFC, and club level rugby league (RL) for Wakefield Trinity (Heritage No. 327) and Castleford (Heritage No. 37) as a stand-off, i.e. number 6.[1]

Playing career

D. J. Aldridge changed rugby football codes from rugby union to rugby league when he transferred from Ebbw Vale RFC to Wakefield Trinity, made his début for Wakefield Trinity during October 1926, he transferred from Wakefield Trinity to Castleford, and he made his début for Castleford on Saturday 15 January 1927.
