Dženan Rahimić

Dženan Rahimić (born November 23, 1974) is a Croatian professional basketball coach and former player. He currently serves as the head coach for Šibenka of the Croatian League.[1]

Professional career

Rahimić had played with the following clubs in his professional career: Zrinjski Mostar, Šibenik, Union Olimpija, Pau-Orthez, and Bosna.[1]

Coaching career

Rahimić started his head coaching career, being appointed head coach for Jolly Šibenik of the Croatian League in 2014. He left the club after coming to the mutual agreement of termination of the contract, on February 27, 2015.[2]

In August 2017, Rahimić took over Student Mostar as their new head coach,[3] but on March 26, 2018, it was reported that Rahimić is no longer head coach of the club.[4]

In August 2019, Rahimić joined the coaching staff of Šibenka, being appointed assistant coach under the head coach Miro Jurić.[5] On June 24, 2020, following the expiration of the contract signed by head coach Edi Dželalija, Rahimić was appointed new head coach of Šibenka.[6]
