Czech and Slovak Testing Board

The Czech and Slovak Testing Board (CaSTB) is a non-profit professional organization that supports and promotes the discipline of software testing in Slovakia and the Czech Republic.

It is one of the many software testing certification boards that are national member boards within the International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB).[1]

History

The Czech and Slovak Testing Board was founded in 2006 as a non-profit organization, an association of specialists dedicated to good practices in software testing as well as information systems.

The Board consists of volunteer testing experts from a wide range of organizations: the IT industry, consultancies, training providers and other professional and scientific/academic communities. The CaSTB is a Member Board of the ISTQB and as such, it is the single legal representative of ISTQB in Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Certifications

The CaSTB offers the following certifications:

  • ISTQB CT Foundation (CTFL)
  • ISTQB CT Foundation Agile Tester Extension (CTFL-AT)
  • ISTQB CT Advanced Test Manager (CTAL-TM)
  • ISTQB CT Advanced Test Analyst (CTAL-TA)
  • ISTQB CT Advanced Technical Test Analyst (CTAL-TTA)
  • ISTQB CT Advanced Technical Test Automation Engineer (CTAL-TAE)
