Craig Blais
Craig Blais (born 1978 in Springfield, Massachusetts) is an American poet.
Life
Blais's first book About Crows won the 2013 Felix Pollak Prize in Poetry judged by Terrance Hayes and published by the University of Wisconsin Press.[1] About Crows was awarded Gold Medal in the category of poetry in the 2013 Florida Book Awards competition.[2]
Blais is a graduate of Holyoke Community College and University of San Francisco. He graduated with a Master of Fine Arts degree from Wichita State University[3] and a Ph.D. in English from Florida State University.[4]
His poems have appeared in Best New Poets, The Antioch Review, Barrow Street (magazine),[5] Hayden's Ferry Review, New Welsh Review,[6] and others. He is Associate Professor of English at Anna Maria College in Paxton, Massachusetts.[7]
