Compsoctena talarodes
Compsoctena talarodes is a moth in the Eriocottidae family. It was described by Meyrick in 1927.[1] It is found in Tanzania and Zimbabwe.[2]

The wingspan is about 21 mm. The forewings are light brownish-ochreous suffused light grey, suffusedly strigulated with dark fuscous irroration and with an oblique basal patch and oblique fasciae before and beyond the middle which are very obscurely indicated. The hindwings are dark grey.[3]
