Compsoctena melitoplaca
Compsoctena melitoplaca is a moth in the Eriocottidae family. It was described by Meyrick in 1927.[1] It is found in South Africa.[2]

The wingspan is 17–19 mm. The forewings are white, with brownish-ochreous transverse strigulae and a few black scales and brownish-ochreous spots with some black scales beneath the middle of the disc and on the end of the cell. The hindwings are grey.[3]
