Compsoctena dehradunensis

Compsoctena dehradunensis is a moth in the Eriocottidae family. It was described by Pathania and Rose in 2004.[1] It is found in Uttarakhand, India.

The wingspan is about 32 mm. The forewings are grey scaled and the hindwings are greyish-black scaled.

Etymology

The species is named after Dehradun, Uttaranchal, the type locality.[2]
