College of Applied Food and Dairy Technology

The College of Applied Food and Dairy Technology, also known as CAFODAT, is a college in Nepal. The college started at Kupondol, moved to Chakupat and to Samakhushi and finally to New Baneshwor, Kathmandu and soon moving to Kumaripati, Lalitpur.

It is the first Nepalese college to start a bachelor's degree in food technology in the private sector and the first of its kind to run the bachelor's degree in dairy technology. The college is run by a cooperative, a community of food scientists, dairy scientists, technologists, and managers, dedicated to improving the food and dairy sector of Nepal. It is the only college in Nepal to run master's degrees in nutrition and dietetics. Its faculty includes Raj Kumar Subedi, one of the lecturers in epidemiology for the master's degree in nutrition and dietetics.[1]
