History

Cole Valley Christian was established in the early 2000s when two private Christian schools, Cole Christian School and Valley Christian High, merged their operations. It runs a full pre-K-12 program at two campuses based in Meridian, Idaho. The school participates in Division 2A athletics in Idaho.

Academics

Historically, Cole Valley sends 86%-95% of its graduates to college, well above the published national public school statistic of 35%. Students participate in the ISAT, ACT (examination), and SAT tests each year consistently scoring above national, state, and local averages.[1]

Cole Valley Christian Schools is fully accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI), the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools (NAAS), and the state of Idaho.[2]

Athletics

In 1996, the school became eligible for state competitions. In 2002, the boys basketball team won the State Championship over Castleford High School. In 2004 the team won the State Championship once again, this time defeating Council High School (Idaho). In 2012, Cole Valley won State Championship again, defeating Kamiah High School.[3] They have also had recent success in golf, with both the boys and girls teams winning state championships the past few years.

gollark: What would you actually reasonably use it for anyway other than cooling?
gollark: (Termux is a thing allowing you to run Linux programs like ssh and python and whatever, in a terminal, with some convenient device APIs)
gollark: There are also "security" changes in Android 11ish which would stop Termux from working (if it updates to the corresponding API level).
gollark: And for even more !!FUN!! each device has its own vendor-provided kernel which is never updated.
gollark: On desktop Linux, I can fit a bootable system onto a small USB stick and happily run it on any modern x86 device. On Android, every device needs its own monolithic system image which is nightmarish to compile.
