Clatterbridge Health Park
Clatterbridge Health Park is a campus of otherwise independent, health care-related organisations, including three separate NHS trusts.[1]
Located in Bebington, Wirral, close to Junction 4 of the M53 motorway, the health park was the former site of the defunct Wirral Union Workhouse. As such, it shares much of its history with that of Clatterbridge Hospital.
Organisations located on Clatterbridge Health Park
- Clatterbridge Cancer Centre[1][2]
- Clatterbridge Hospital (under the management of Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust)[1][2]
- Elderholme Nursing Home, which is operated by a registered charity, Wirrelderly, and provides residential care for those over 65.[3]
- Radio Clatterbridge[4]
- Springview Hospital (under the management of Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust)[1][5]
Neighbouring and associated organisations
- Claire House Children's Hospice is also located within the grounds of the former workhouse, but has a separate entrance and is not accessible from the main site.[6]
