In the season 2008–2009 he has played for FC Biel Bienne in the Swiss Challenge League on loan from BSC Young Boys.
Personal life
His brother Marco Schneuwly is also a footballer. The siblings have played together for BSC Young Boys, FC Thun and FC Luzern.
