Chris Lewis (Usenet)

Chris Lewis is a Canadian expert on Usenet and spam. He is perhaps best known for his work in writing and running auto-cancelers for newsgroup spam, and his help in implementing (and avoiding the need for) UDPs. He was employed by Nortel Networks until Nortel filed for bankruptcy, and then became an independent security consultant.[1] He has been Senior Technical Advisor to Messaging, Malware and Mobile Anti-Abuse Working Group (M3AAWG), Advisor to Virus Bulletin,[2] served as treasurer to the Coalition Against Unsolicited Commercial Email (CAUCE) [3] and co-authored "Overview of Best Email DNS-Based List (DNSBL) Operational Practices (RFC6471)".[4]
