Chris Arlman

Christiaan "Chris" Arlman (26 February 1944, Meppel – 2 July 2008, Harlingen) was a Dutch politician of the Labour Party (PvdA).

Arlman started his career as a civil servant.

He was mayor of Nieuweschans (1981-1990), Pekela (1990-1998), Harlingen (1998-2006), and acting mayor of Bellingwedde (2007).

Arlman was also chairman of football clubs SC Veendam (1991-1998) and SC Cambuur (1999-2000).
