Chionobathyscus
Chionobathyscus dewitti, is a species of crocodile icefish native to the Southern Ocean, where it occurs on the continental slope and continental shelf at depths of 500 to 2,000 metres (1,600 to 6,600 ft). The species, which grows to a length of 60 centimetres (24 in) TL, is the only known member of its genus.[1] It feeds mainly on krill and fish.[1] It is of no interest to commercial fisheries.[1]
