Cheryl Axley

Cheryl Axley (born June 19, 1959) is a former politician and attorney.

From Elk Grove Township, Cook County, Illinois, Axley received her bachelor's degree in 1981 from University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign and her law degree from John Marshall Law School. Axley was admitted to the Illinois bar. Axley was involved with the Republican Party in Elk Grove Township. In September 2005, Axley was appointed to the Illinois Senate and served until 2007 when she was defeated for re-election in the November General Election of 2006.[1][2]
