Charlotte Pourret Wythe
Charlotte Pourret Wythe (born 28 March 2005) is a British actress, singer[1] and dancer,[2] best known for her roles in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child in 2018, Billy Elliot the Musical in 2015-16, both in the West End, and the UK & Ireland tour of Annie in 2019. She also appeared in the musical The House of Mirrors and Hearts at the Arcola Theatre in London in 2015.
Early life
Her father is composer and lyricist Laurence Mark Wythe and her sister is actress Sophie Pourret Wythe who has appeared in Shrek, The Sound of Music and Oliver! in the West End. Her mother owns and runs a theatre school and she began dancing at the age of two. She has grown up in London.
Career
Her professional stage debut was in 2015 in the musical The House of Mirrors and Hearts [3][4] at the Arcola Theatre with Jamie Muscato and Graham Bickley. In 2014 she had recorded the demo of the show and appeared in a workshop presentation at the Tristan Bates Theatre alongside Lauren Samuels and Charlotte Wakefield.
She was appearing in Billy Elliot the Musical alongside Ruthie Henshall at the time of the show's final performance at the Victoria Palace Theatre on April 9th 2016, where she performed in the final performance of the show in front of Sir Elton John and the evening included numerous previous Billys, including Tom Holland, Elliot Hanna, Layton Williams, and Liam Mower.
In early 2019, she recorded the role of Young Rhiannon in The Sheep Chronicles featuring actor Colin Salmon.
During 2019, she performed on tour in Annie in the role of Pepper alongside Anita Dobson, Craig Revel Horwood, Jodie Prenger and Leslie Joseph as the various Miss Hannigans during the year long tour of the UK and Ireland.
