Charissa Chamorro

Charissa Cree Chamorro (born April 26, 1977 in Baytown, Texas) is an American television actress of Chilean heritage, best known for her leading roles on such soap operas as Guiding Light as Victoria "Tory" Granger (2001–2002)[1] and One Life to Live (OLTL) as Detective Sophia Pellegrino (1999–2001).[2]

She was recommended by TV Guide to replace Elisabeth Röhm as the Assistant District Attorney on Law & Order (a role that eventually went to Annie Parisse),[3] which would have made her the youngest ADA in Law & Order history.

She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Boston University and has worked extensively in theater.
