Charibert of Hesbaye
Charibert de Haspengau (555 – 636) was a Frankish nobleman, possibly a count. Charibert is described as Charibert nobilis in Neustria in Europäische Stammtafeln and is said to be a descendant of Roman consul Stilicho. No other information is available other than descriptions of his grandchildren (e.g., Lambertus, Bishop of Lyon), who are described as having "high rank and worthy of significant positions" within the palace. He is likely the earliest known ancestor of Hugh Capet.
Charibert married Wulfgurd of Hesbaye of unknown parentage. They had four children:
- Robert I, Bishop of Tours
- Aldebert, a monk, possibly at Fontenelle Abbey
- Erlebert, Seigneur de Quernes
- An unnamed daughter.

gollark: That would generally have a micro USB cable or an A to B one.
gollark: Why would you connect it to your computer with an A to A cable? How do you even have one?
gollark: … no?
gollark: It's not horribly complex, just accursed and awful but necessary because IPv4.
gollark: And yet> does that mean I can have any public IP I want if I disabled NAT theoretically
