Chania High School

Chania High School was a Kenyan public high school located in Thika, Central Province.

History and operations

The school was formerly known as MP Shah High School until 1967 when it was renamed Chania High School. It used to have both girls and boys, both of who could board at the school or commute to school every day. It was the only school in Thika that served a wide range of students from a diverse cultural, racial, ethnic and religious background.

The school split in 2000 to Chania Boys' High School and Chania Girls' High School to serve boys and girls, respectively.

The school motto was Esse Quam Videri, meaning "To be, rather than to seem (to be)".

gollark: Generally you won't talk to my nameserver directly but to a recursive DNS resolver which then looks it up. The nice thing about DNS is that even on internal network-type things, DNS queries will quite likely be propagated to the outside world.
gollark: That nameserver parses the DNS query and does stuff based on its contents.
gollark: If something wants to get records for a subdomain, they talk to my nameserver.
gollark: I can delegate subdomains of it to have their own nameservers.
