History
Changan showed a first glimpse of the UNI-T at the Shanghai Auto Show in April 2017 with the concept vehicle Yuyue Concept.[1] The production model was to be presented at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2020.[2] However, the show was canceled on 28 February 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic, which is why Changan finally presented the Uni-T in China at the end of March 2020.[3] The model came on the Chinese market in June 2020.[4]
Technical data
At the market launch, the UNI-T is powered by a supercharged 1.5-liter petrol engine with 132 kW (177 hp). A stronger two-liter gasoline engine should follow later, according to the manufacturer.[4]
