Chanchattam (1991 film)
Chanchattam is a Malayalam directed by Thulasidas, written by S. N. Swamy, and starring Jayaram, Urvasi, Siddique, Jagathi Sreekumar and Adoor Bhavani. The film was a big flop at box office. The film was a remake of Tamil film Mouna Geethangal.

Plot
Mohan and Yamuna are happily married couple. But Mohan fell accidentally in an extra marital affair with a friend of Yamuna who was a widow. Mohan couldn't stand the sin he has committed and he confessed what has happened in his life to his wife which she couldn't forgive leads to a permanent separation. The story further proceeds with the meeting after very long years when Mohan got transferred to the same office where Yamuna works.
