Chalcis (Epirus)
Chalcis or Chalkis (Ancient Greek: Χαλκίς) was a town of ancient Epirus in Mount Pindus, near which the Achelous River rises.[1] It is erroneously called by Stephanus of Byzantium a town of Aetolia.[2]
