Plot

Jambu (A. V. M. Rajan) is a thief who lives in the forests avoiding the police. There is a bounty of 1 lakh (equivalent to 41 lakh or US$58,000 in 2019) on his head. Meenakshi, an estate owner under heavy debt, has a son (Gemini Ganesan). Her secretary Babu has a sister (Vennira Aadai Nirmala) who is a college student, and she falls in love with Meenakshi's son. Meenakshi stipulates that she is to be paid 50,000 (equivalent to 2.1 million or US$29,000 in 2019), otherwise the marriage between her son and Babu's sister will not take place. Babu and his friends head to the forest in search of Jambu to obtain the money he has robbed and the reward. The rest of the story deals with how the money is obtained.[2]

gollark: I'm somewhat annoyed that consumer AR glasses still haven't happened.
gollark: In efficiency here or in general?
gollark: Even a 1Mbps upload speed is good enough to transfer 70GB of files a week, so it's fine if you're not particularly concerned about up to the minute backups.
gollark: My calculator says 6ft is about 180cm. I guess they just like round numbers.
gollark: I could totally sell this if I had more computing power, and also the ability to sell weird products like this to arbitrary companies, and any demand.
