Château de Bordères-Louron

The Château de Bordères-Louron is a ruined castle in the commune of Bordères-Louron in the Hautes-Pyrénées département of France.[1]

History

The castle was built in the third quarter of the 13th century. It belonged to the family of Roger d'Espagne (Roger of Spain) from the 14th century. In 1740, a fire destroyed much of the village and the castle. Remains of the castle's enceinte are still visible.[1]

The castle ruins are privately owned.[1]

gollark: Why don't YOU do so then?! You could probably write better code.
gollark: Well, my thing also needed to store the text to actually search them. For random picking it would be easier.
gollark: I tried that, but accumulated several tens of thousands of pages after it hit a big website or something.
gollark: We need some sort of random redirection mechanism. Time to restart osmarkscrawler™ with a smaller site list?
gollark: "Modern"? Are you THAT stuck in the 1920s?
