Central Lee Community School District

Central Lee Community School District is a school district headquartered in Donnellson, Iowa.[3] Entirely in Lee County, it serves Donnellson, Franklin, and Montrose.[4] It also serves Argyle.[5] A small section of Fort Madison lies in the district limits.[4]

It is home to Central Lee Elementary School, Central Lee Middle School, and Central Lee High School.

History

As of 2018 it had about 150 employees and 1,100 students.[5]

A bond election was scheduled for April 2018 for $13.3 million but the vote was unsuccessful. A bond election, this time for $12.9 million and without the proposed agriculture and weight room renovations, was scheduled for September 10, 2019.[6]
